THOUGHTS ON “60 DAYS IN QUARANTINE”

The first time I read this book, I connected to it so deeply and intensely because I felt the presence of myself AND humankind going through this pandemic. We are ALL experiencing the emotions and principles of this book TOGETHER. Coming back to the beautiful and true ideas in “60 Days in Quarantine,” gives me strength and reminds me of the power I have within to stay on my path.

When we rang in the New Year on the first day of 2020, we had no idea what lay ahead of us. In the span of a few weeks, we suddenly found ourselves in a world we no longer recognized. In the midst of this uncertainty, “60 Days” managed to find a patch of sunshine in the darkness. This collection of stories, photos, and observations is a reminder to look for the good in each day and in the people around us.

Everyone needs this book right now. It’s easy to get weighed down with all of the heavy news and statistics of this pandemic. The positivity of “60 Days” is thankfully contagious. The colorful pages certainly help set the mood and you can’t help but feel good while reading and that carries with you after you’ve put the book down. I’m still smiling!

In a time where there is so much negativity and division in the world, “60 Days in Quarantine” is a welcome escape filled with positivity, joy, and a focus on a better future to come.

A Note From Beth:

Thank you for visiting my site. It breaks my heart to see how divided our world is and to see and feel all the hate and violence. I’ve wanted to do something to try and help this but have felt helpless for the past several years watching things get worse and not knowing how to even get started. As I started studying mindfulness and positivity, I realized my only course of action was to work on myself. That’s all any of us can do – work to love ourselves and be the change we’re looking to bring about in the world.

In March as coronavirus started taking over our lives, my new mindset allowed me to see that the pandemic was an opportunity for good and that it didn’t have to be a hard, scary time in our lives. Everything that is happening is a gift and an opportunity to learn if that’s how we choose to see it, and that’s the choice I made.

No matter what’s happening in the world, we can live happy, healthy lives full of spreading love and kindness to all that we encounter. This is isn’t a dream, it’s an achievable gift we can give ourselves and the rest of the world. I hope reading my book will start this shift in mindset for you. It starts with us individually, so we can collectively get better. We are All One and need each other to survive.

Thank you for going on this journey with me and keeping an open mind to my perspective in quarantine. I hope you will be the change.
